Damage to Cars in Westbury

Overnight Wednesday 8th / Thursday 9th February, two offences were committed in the vicinity of Field Close Westbury, a car had its roof slashed and property including a satnav stolen from inside and there was a burglary to a garage where tools including 5 drills and a grinder were stolen. Whilst it is suspected that these offences are linked this cannot be confirmed and enquires are continuing.

It would appear that persons living in and around Field Close in Westbury may either have seen or witnessed the offender(s) and it is asked that anyone able to help Police with their continued enquiries

Following two separate reports of damage to cars whilst parked overnight Monday 13th / Tuesday 14th February in Hackney Way Westbury, Police Officers have arrested a local man. The 42yr old man from Trowbridge is currently being interviewed and an update is awaited.
