Attempted Shop Break-ins in Westbury

This is an appeal for witnesses following three different incidents in Westbury Town Centre overnight Sunday 12th / Monday 13th February.

An offender(s) have attempted to drill open the ATM Machine at the Total Garage in Warminster Road Westbury and also forced/attempted to force their way into two other town centre shops. It appears the offender(s) were looking for money. 

The incidents which have happened throughout the night appear to be linked but this cannot be confirmed as yet, further enquiries are being made and CCTV footage is being viewed. 

The two shop premises in Warminster Road and Edwards Street Westbury have had some significant damage to repair caused by the offenders. 

Any persons in Westbury during the night time hours Sunday into Monday, or anyone who may be able to suggest who is responsible for these offences and can help Police with their enquires are asked to contact the duty sergeant at Warminster on 101 726815.
